Let's ride some of the routes in Wards 35 and 36 that are being considered for the New Toronto Cycling Network Plan.

The ride will be about 1.5 hours and will be family friendly and accommodate all fitness and skill levels.

Draft Maps of the New Toronto Cycling Network Plan


The City has released draft maps of projects being proposed for the new Cycling Network.

Four types of projects are identified:
  • Projects on Fast Busy Streets
  • Projects on Quiet Streets
  • Projects to Renew Existing Cycling Network
  • Major Corridor Studies
Members of Ward 36 Cyclists will be meeting with City staff on Saturday February 20 to give feedback on the proposed projects in our ward.

Toronto Bike Awards, Wed. Feb. 24


In partnership with the City of Toronto, Cycle Toronto is pleased to bring you to the Toronto Bike Awards.

This annual celebration invites the community to honour businesses and organizations that demonstrate leadership in encouraging cycling in our city.

Please join us to learn how Toronto's business community is shaping Toronto's cycling network and celebrate our successes.

The awards will take place on February 24, 2016 at the  Steam Whistle Brewing Hall , with doors at 6:3 0 pm and programming beginning at 7:00pm.

The ceremony will be hosted by Cycle Toronto's Executive Director Jared Kolb and City of Toronto Cycling Manager Jacquelyn Hayward Gulati, who will also provide a keynote speech.

We'll also hear presentations from PWIC Chair and Councillor Jaye Robinson and General Manager of Transportation Services, Stephen Buckley.
